4th of July Look Book!

The 4th of July is such a fun summer holiday…it’s patriotic, historical and it’s a great excuse to break out those white shorts you’ve been saving since the fall. We thought it would be a great idea to showcase two different looks you can try this 4th of July.

IMG_8023For the 4th of July everyone always goes for the classic white shorts with a red top combo. Lauren thought it would be a great idea to go for something a little more fresh with red shorts and a white V-neck top. Lauren paired this look with a red, white and blue bandana tied around the neck to give this look a vintage 1950’s vibe. Pair it with your favorite sunnies and you’re ready to go watch the fireworks or go ham on some hotdogs!

IMG_2606For the second look Christina went for a more smart option, in case you actually wanted to leave your backyard. A white midi length skirt is perfect for any occasion! You can dress it up or dress it down. Christina chose to pair this skirt with a maroon velvet top for a more edgy and sophisticated look. Pair it with a heel or flat and you should be ready to rock any rooftop party! She chose to go with simple jewelry as to not overshadow the top (it definitely is the life of the party), but tweak this however you would like to fit your style!

The great thing about fashion and the holidays is that there are no rules! Work them white shorts! Own that glitter top! Put on that bobble head band! The most important thing is to have fun! So gorge yourself on all the delicious All-American foods and be bold!
